2015 IRC Wall Bracing Requirements

Course Description:  

2015 IRC Wall Bracing Requirements – This seminar guides attendees through a basic understanding and analysis of the 2015 IRC wall bracing requirements for wood framed residential structures. This seminar is beneficial for building code officials/plan reviewers, builders, architects and engineers. 

Instructor Bio:  Jared Hensley holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structural design from the University of Wyoming. An expert on residential and commercial design with engineered wood products, Jared is currently a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, Wyoming and Washington. His design and construction management experience includes structural design for new and renovated buildings incorporating steel, masonry, timber and concrete, as well as acting as a consulting engineer on structural design and rough framing inspections for several large residential and commercial builders in the greater Denver area. Jared joined APA in the spring of 2015 and covers the Pacific Northwest territory.

Course length: 2 hours - 0.2 ICC CEU's  

Cost: FREE for members
